In this engaging and informative creative writing workshop, we will be exploring all aspects of the editing process in great detail.
We will discuss the different steps involved in editing a draft, share some tips and tricks to help make this process easier, and even look at a few case studies that will demonstrate the editing process in action. It is our intention that you will leave the session with the confidence and the skills to tackle editing your draft and make it the best it can be.
This workshop is perfect for writers of all levels of experience who would like to gain deeper insight into the writing process. We will be sharing lots of ideas, conventions, and practical tips that you will be able to apply to your writing no matter what stage of drafting you are currently in.
Come prepared with a notebook, pen, computer — whatever you prefer to write with! You can also bring a short piece of writing (1 page or less) that you would like to edit. This will be for your eyes only! We won’t require you to share any writing with the group :)
