The last meeting held by the Writers Initiative was an open reading in association with the Barbican library. All the readings from attendees were of a great standard, the feedback was insightful and constructive, and it was really interesting to hear peoples thoughts and views on the work that was read back to the attendees. It can be nerve-racking for a writer to read back their work to strangers, or even people they know, but it can also provide invaluable feedback on the writers work. If you a writer or keen reader, please do consider attending such events, if held by the Writers Initiative or not.
